2. Disconnect the two wires from the thermostat.
3. Secure the wires to the side.
4. Unscrew the 2 screws securing the heater tube bracket and secure them to the side.
5. Disconnect the 10 clips securing the upper and lower parts of the heater housing.
6. Unscrew the 5 screws securing the upper part of the heater.
7. Remove the lower part of the heater and the air conditioner evaporator.

8. Disconnect the 4 clips securing the top cover of the evaporator.
9. Remove the top cover.

10. Remove the sensor (sensitive element) thermostat.
11. Remove the evaporator from the housing.
12. Remove the seal from the housing.
Expansion valve
13. Remove the insulators from the evaporator and expansion valve connections.
14. Remove the clip securing the expansion valve sensing element.
15. Unscrew the two tubes from the valve and discard the sealing rings.
Caution: Support the valve nipple with a second wrench, plug the open holes.
16. Remove the expansion valve.
17. Unscrew the expansion valve tube fastening nut.

18. Remove the expansion valve tube.
19. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
