Thermostat — removal and installation (Discovery 1)

1. Remove the heater.

2. Remove the air conditioner evaporator.

3. Disconnect the clips securing the top cover of the evaporator.

4. Remove the top cover.

5. Remove the sensor (sensitive element) thermostat from the evaporator grille.

6. Unscrew the 2 thermostat mounting screws.



7. Remove the thermostat and insulator.

8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Attention: the thermostat insulator must be installed strictly in the old place on the evaporator.
