2. Discharge the air conditioning system.
3. Loosen the screws securing the central part of the fan diffuser.
4. Remove the central part of the diffuser.
The V8i engine is shown.
5. Unscrew the 2 bolts securing the hose flanges to the compressor.
6. Move the high pressure hose to the side.
7. Move the low pressure hose to the side.
8. Remove both O-rings.
9. Disconnect the compressor clutch wires.
10. Loosen the tension of the drive belt of the attachments.
11. Unscrew the 4 compressor mounting bolts.
12. Remove the compressor from the bracket.
13. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Tightening torques:
- compressor mounting bolts 25 Nm
- hose mounting bolts 10 Nm.
14. When installing a new compressor, please refer to the section "Installing a New Compressor" above.
15. Fill the air conditioning system, check its tightness and functionality.
