Open the hood and doors of the car. Turn on the air conditioner. Set the temperature control to the maximum cooling position, the heater fan speed is at maximum. Change the air intake location to atmospheric intake.
1. Close the low pressure line valve of the filling station.
2. Close the high pressure line valve of the filling station.
3. Connect the filling station to the service fittings of the air conditioning system.
4. Place a thermometer with a dry bulb near the cold air outlet. Place dry and wet bulb thermometers at the atmospheric air sampling point. Be careful not to let the water spill out of the thermometer cap with the wet bulb.
5. Run the engine for 10 minutes, bring it up to 1500 rpm.
6. Make sure there are no air bubbles in the sight glass of the receiver-dryer.
7. Read the readings of the gas station pressure gauges and all thermometers. Check the measurement results against the table (compiled for air humidity of 60-80%). If necessary, determine the cause of the system's poor performance using the troubleshooting table.
8. Turn off the air conditioner and engine, disconnect the filling station.
