DTC Trouble Code Index (Discovery 3)

NOTE: Generic scan tools cannot read the codes listed or can only read 5-digit codes. Match the 5 digits from the scan tool with the first 5 digits of the listed 7-digit code to identify the fault. (the last 2 digits provide additional information readable by a manufacturer approved diagnostic system).

C1A0046	Control module	Incorrect vehicle configuration file (CCF) data received from the instrument cluster (IPC) or incorrect CCF configuration. The installed modulator does not match the vehicle configuration Vehicle Stability Control Module Calibration/Parameter Memory Malfunction (internal error)	Reconfigure the module using the approved diagnostic system. Clear the DTC and check if the DTC is reset after reconfiguring the ignition after more than 10 seconds of ignition on. If the above is normal and the DTC remains, replace the modulator. If the module is suspected, refer to the warranty policy and procedures manual.
C1A0196	LED	LED electrical circuit: short circuit to ground High resistance	Check the LED and electrical circuits. Refer to the electrical equipment manual.
C1A0294	The steering angle encoder is stuck in the middle position	The rotary switch was detected to be between detent positions for more than 1 minute	Check the operation of the rotary switch.
U007388	Disabling the "A" bus of the control module data transmission	CAN bus is disabled	Refer to the "Network Communication" section in the service station manual.
U010087	Lost Communication with ECM/PCM "A"	CAN bus module status signals not received from engine/powertrain control module (E/PCM) within specified time	Refer to the "Network Communication" section in the service station manual.
U010187	Lost connection with TCM	The module status signals via the CAN bus were not received from the TCM gearbox control unit within the prescribed time.	Refer to the "Network Communication" section in the service station manual.
