Removal and installation the audio unit (Discovery 3)

Removal

CAUTION: The new audio unit is shipped with a shipping plate installed. The shipping plate must be removed before installing the audio unit.

1. Remove the instrument panel console. For more information, refer to Instrument Panel Console (76.25.03)

2. Remove the climate control panel. Remove the 4 Torx bolts.



3. Remove the audio unit.

• Remove 4 Torx bolts.
• Disconnect 2 electrical connectors.
• Disconnect the antenna cable.

Installation

CAUTION: The new audio unit is shipped with a shipping plate installed. The shipping plate must be removed before installing the audio unit.

Install the audio block.

• Connect the antenna cable.
• Connect the electrical connectors.
• Tighten the Torx screws.

2. Install the climate control panel. Tighten the Torx screws.



3. Install the instrument panel console. For more information, refer to Instrument Panel Console (76.25.03)

4. Configure the new audio unit using T4.
