Removal and installation the audio system amplifier (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.

2. Remove the right front seat. For more information, refer to Front Seat (78.10.44/99)

CAUTION: Cover the fiber optic connections to prevent dust from entering them.; avoid bending fiber optic cables within a radius of less than 30 mm.

Remove the amplifier.

• Remove 4 bolts.
• Disconnect 5 electrical connectors.

Installation

1. Install the amplifier.

• Insert and tighten the bolts (tightening torque 10 Nm).
• Connect and secure the electrical connectors.

2. Install the front seat. For more information, refer to Front Seat (78.10.44/99)

3. Connect the ground cable to the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.
