4.0L Drive Belt Idler Pulley (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.

2. Remove the alternator drive belt. For more information, refer to Accessory Drive Belt (86.10.03)

3. Remove the auxiliary drive belt idler pulley. Remove the bolt.

Installation

1. Install the accessory drive belt idler pulley. Tighten the bolt. (tightening torque 45 Nm).

2. Install the alternator drive belt. For more information, refer to Accessory Drive Belt (86.10.03)

3. Connect the ground cable to the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.
