Ignition coil 4.4L (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.

2. Remove the engine cover. For more information, refer to Engine Cover - 4.4L (12.30.50)

3. Remove the ignition coil cover. Release it from the two clamps.



4. Disconnect the direct ignition coil electrical connector.



5. Remove the direct ignition coil.

• Remove the bolt.
• Remove and discard the sealing ring.

Installation

1. When installing, perform the removal procedure in reverse order. Tighten the bolt. (tightening torque 6 Nm).
