Rear left seat cushion upholstery (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the rear left seat.

SEATS, REPAIR WORK, Rear left seat.

2. Remove 5 screws and both seat belt anchor covers.

3. Remove the 3 Torx bolts and remove the seat back from the cushion.



4. Release the back of the cushion cover from its attachment to the frame.

5. Release the front and side parts of the cushion upholstery from the frame.

6. Remove the cushion together with the upholstery.



7. Remove and discard the 16 trim retaining rings and remove the trim from the soft lining.

Installation

1. Place the upholstery on the cushion. Secure the upholstery with rings at the marks made during dismantling.

2. Place the seat cushion on the base.

3. Fix the front and side parts of the cushion to the frame.

4. Secure the rear part of the seat cushion to the frame.

5. Align the seat cushion and backrest and tighten the Torx bolts to 28 Nm.

6. Install the seat belt anchor covers and tighten the screws securing them.

7. Replace the rear seat.
