Rear right seat backrest lock (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the rear seat back upholstery.

2. Remove the 2 Torx screws securing the backrest lock.

3. Unscrew the 3 screws securing the button.

4. Disconnect the cable from the lever support and remove the lock assembly.

Installation

1. Install the lock assembly onto the frame and connect the cable to the support.

2. Replace the Torx screws securing the backrest lock and tighten to 20 Nm.

3. Tighten the screws securing the lock button.

4. Replace the seat back upholstery.
