Dismantling


1. Remove the left drive shaft.

DRIVE SHAFTS, REPAIR WORK, Left shaft with outer and inner joints.


2. Carefully remove the oil seal from the differential housing and discard the oil seal.

Installation


1. Thoroughly clean the oil seal seat in the differential housing (interaxle), the splines and the sealing surface of the drive shaft.

2. Insert the extension LRT-37-027 into the mandrel LRT-37-032.

3. Install the new oil seal on the LRT-37-032 mandrel so that the oil scraper edge is directed towards the differential housing.

4. Carefully press the new seal into the socket until it stops.

5. Fully insert the seal lip protector "Unipart TRV 100060" into the seal so that the lip is protected and the cut is closed correctly.



6. Install the left drive shaft into place.
