The axial movement of the driver's seat on command from the switch panel occurs in a discrete mode with a delay (the seat moves along the axis for a short distance when the switch is pressed for more than 2 seconds, and then stops. This condition can occur on ANY axis of the seat, i.e. when moving forward/backward, down/up, or changing the angle of inclination).The Hall sensor of the drive motor of the corresponding axis is not connected or does not receive the expected signalsCheck for the following DTCs associated with the DSM: B1B8731 - Seat Height/Tilt Motor Speed Sensor B1B8931 - Seat Pan Motor Speed/Position Sensor B1B9331 - Seat Tilt Motor Speed/Position Sensor If present, check the Hall Effect sensor feedback connection(s) between the seat motor(s) and the seat module, and check the Hall Effect sensor ground connections for the affected axis. After correcting the Hall Effect sensor connection, press and hold the affected axis travel switch for more than 2 seconds. Now, when the switch is held down, the axis should move as long as the switch is pressed. Recalibrate the affected seat.
