Disconnecting/connecting
CAUTION: Before disconnecting/connecting the battery, the vehicle and battery status must be set. Then, the appropriate procedure must be selected using the table below.
NOTE: Vehicles equipped with a fuel-fired auxiliary heater require a five-minute wait before Telestart can be initiated. Switch the ignition off and on. Wait five minutes to allow the fuel-fired auxiliary heater to save the vehicle configuration settings.

Procedure 1

| 1. Apply the parking brake or place chocks under the wheels | 1. Make sure all electrical loads are OFF |
| 2. Turn off the ignition and remove the remote control from the socket. | 2. Connect the battery - starting from the wire "GROUND" |
| 3. Wait 2 minutes until the engine management system is de-energized | 3. Turn on the ignition |
| 4. Open the hood | 4. Reset the radio's preset button values. |
| 5. Disconnect the battery cables - starting from the wire "GROUND" | 5. Reset the clock |
| 6. Reset the one-touch window control system. Raise the window all the way, release the switch, press and hold for 1 second (the relay in the doors will click). Lower the window all the way, press the switch again and hold for 1 second. The one-touch control function should now work |
