Removal and installation the trailer unit (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The trailer control module is installed with a replaceable fuse.

Removal

1. Remove the left rear side trim panel. Refer to procedure: Rear Side Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

2. Remove the trailer control module.

3. Remove the fuse.

NOTE: Do not continue disassembly if the component is removed only for access.

Installation

1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.

2. Using the Land Rover approved diagnostic system, calibrate the new module.
