Rear windows (fixed) (Discovery 1)

1. Press out the glass, remove the rubber mounting strip.

2. Unscrew the upper rear seat belt fastening.

Installation

3. Clean the flange where the rubber glass fastening strip is installed.

4. Clean the glass and rubber strip, check the tightness of the glass fit in the strip groove.

5. Place a strong cord into the tape groove.

6. Wet the glass opening flange with soapy water.

7. Install the glass and rubber strip on the opening with the cord facing inside the car.



8. While the assistant presses the glass from the outside, pulling the cord, place the edge of the glass tape on the flange.

9. Check the reliability of the glass installation.
