Sunroof drive control unit (Discovery 1)

The control unit ensures the operation of both hatches. Mounted above the front sunroof switches behind the ceiling panel.

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Close the hatch. If the sunroof motor is faulty, close the sunroof manually by turning the motor shaft A using a hex key.

3. Remove the sunroof switch panel.

4. Remove the interior light bulb.

5. Remove the ultrasonic unit of the anti-theft system.

6. Unscrew the 10 screws securing the light panel to the ceiling and remove the panel.

7. Disconnect the control unit connector.

8. Unscrew the 2 mounting screws and remove the control unit.



9. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
