The idle speed is controlled by an electronic control unit.
Disconnect and plug both idle air control valve hoses, Figure 1.
Start the engine at idle speed.
If the set speed does not correspond to the specifications, adjust the idle speed screw, Figure 2.
Turn off the ignition.
Connect the idle air control valve hoses.
Start the engine.
Wait until the idle speed stabilizes.
Measure the engine no-load speed.
Turn on the air conditioner.
Make sure the speed remains within the specifications tolerance.
