Bleeding the clutch hydraulic drive (Discovery 1)

Note: When bleeding, always fill the master cylinder reservoir with the recommended fluid.

1. Attach a suitable plastic hose to the drain nipple of the working hydraulic cylinder.

2. Place the free end of the hose into a container with fresh brake fluid.

3. Loosen the drain nipple.



4. Press the clutch pedal and bleed the air from the system.

5. While holding the pedal down, tighten the drain plug.

6. Add brake fluid to the reservoir to the level.
