NOTE: The clutch slave cylinder and release bearing are a single unit and cannot be serviced or replaced separately.
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging System - General Information, Specifications).
2. Raise the vehicle.
WARNING: Ensure that the vehicle is supported securely.
3. Remove the transaxle assembly. Refer to procedure: Transaxle (308-03 Manual/Transaxle Transaxle, Removal).
4. Tightening torque: 11 Nm
CAUTION: If brake fluid comes into contact with the paintwork, immediately wash the affected area with cold water.

Installation
1. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
2. Bleed the clutch system. Refer to procedure: Bleeding the Clutch System (308-00 Manual/Transaxle Transaxle and Clutch - General Information, General Procedures).
3. Install the gearbox in the block with the drive axle. Refer to the procedure: Transmission (308-03 Manual transmission/ gearbox in the block with a drive axle, Removal).
4. Connect the ground cable to the battery. Refer to Procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging System - General Information, Specifications).
