Removal

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

WARNING: Ensure that the vehicle is supported securely.

2. Remove the right half shaft. Refer to the procedure: Right Half Shaft (205-04 Front Drive Axle Shafts, Removal and Installation).

3. Special tool: 303-1300

Clean the area around the element and remove any foreign material. Be especially careful not to damage the mating surfaces.
