The 6-speed manual transmission M66EHA50 is manufactured by Getrag-Ford in Cologne, Germany. This transmission has a very compact design with 4 shafts and a front pinion of the final drive, it is adapted for the all-wheel drive (AWD) mode and provides a connection between the final drive carrier and the transfer case. The transmission is capable of transmitting high torque from the engine.

The gearbox has two mechanical shift cables running from the selector lever and an electronic reverse gear lock.
