Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
WARNING: Ensure that the vehicle is supported securely.
2. Remove the left half shaft. Refer to the procedure: Left Half Shaft (205-04 Front Drive Axle Shafts, Removal and Installation).

Be very careful not to damage the mating surfaces. Clean the area around the element and remove any foreign material.
Installation
1. Special tool: 307-596
CAUTION: Be very careful not to damage the seal.
