Wing Apron Panel (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Disconnect both cables from the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.

2. Remove the front fender. For more information, refer to Fender (76.10.24)

3. Remove the hood latch panel. For more information, refer to Hood Latch Panel (76.16.22)

4. Remove the radiator. For more information, refer to Radiator (26.40.01)

5. Remove the radiator expansion tank. For more information, refer to Cooling System Expansion Tank (26.15.01)

6. Left side: Remove the power steering fluid reservoir. For more information, refer to Power Steering Fluid Reservoir -2.7L Diesel (57.15.08)

7. Remove the hood.

8. Remove both hood pillars.

9. Remove the hood wiring harness.

10. Remove both wiper arms with blades.

11. Remove the mixing chamber panel. For more information, refer to Accumulating Chamber (80.15.62)

12. Left side: Remove the battery.

13. Remove the wiring harness.

14. Right side: Release the ABS modulator.

15. Remove the air filter. For more information, refer to Air Filter (10/19/01)

16. Remove the insulation from the outer bulkhead.

17. Left Side: Remove the fuel coolant heater module. For more information, refer to Auxiliary Heater (universal action), fuel-fired (80.40.01)

18. Left side: Remove the battery junction block. For more information, refer to Battery Junction Box (BJB) -2.7L Diesel (86.70.55)
