Front wheel arch section (Discovery 3)

Removal

NOTE: This procedure requires removal of the body from the body frame.

NOTE: This procedure replaces the front wheel well section along with the front side member section, hood latch panel and front cross member.

1. Disconnect both cables from the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.

2. Remove the front side member section. For more information, refer to Front Side Member Section (77.30.20/21)

3. Remove the front wheel arch. For more information, refer to Reinforcing the Front Wheel Arch.

4. Remove the crossmember. For more information, refer to Front Crossmember (77.20.25)

5. Remove the hood latch panel. For more information, refer to Hood Latch Panel (76.16.22)
