Rear seat cushion cover with 40/20/40 split (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Remove the outer seatback hinge cover.

• Fold the rear seat forward.
• Remove the screw.

2. Remove the inner seat back hinge cover.

• Release the side clip of the backrest upholstery.
• Release 2 clamps.
• Remove the screw.

3. Remove the side trim of the rear seat cushion. Remove 2 screws.



4. Remove the rear seat release clamp cover. Remove the screw.

5. Remove the front seat release clamp cover. Remove the screw.



6. Remove the seat cushion pads. Remove 2 screws.



7. Remove the rear seat belt buckle.

• Remove the Torx head bolt.
• Release the spring.

8. Remove the rear seat cushion trim. Loosen the 15 clamps.





9. Remove the front seat cushion upholstery. Remove 22 bent rings.

Installation

1. Install the rear seat cushion cover.

• Install the bent rings.
• Install the clamps.

2. Install the rear seat belt buckle.

• Attach the spring.
• Tighten the Torx head bolt (tightening torque 45 Nm).

3. Install the seat cushion pads. Tighten the screws.
