Central Junction Box (CJB) (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. If the Central Junction Box (CJB) needs to be replaced, connect the vehicle to T4.

2. Remove the glove compartment. For more information, refer to Glove Compartment (76.52.03)

3. Remove the decorative panel from the passenger side.

• Release the clamp.
• Remove two screws.
• Disconnect the electrical connector.

4. Remove the CJB.

• Unscrew 2 nuts.
• Disconnect 6 electrical connectors.

Installation

1. Install CJB.

• Connect the electrical connectors.
• Tighten the nuts (tightening torque 10 Nm).

2. Install the passenger side trim panel.

• Connect the electrical connector.
• Secure the clamp.

3. Install the glove compartment. For more information, refer to Glove Compartment (76.52.03)

4. Initialize the new CJB using T4.
