Four-wheel drive (4WD) control module (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.

2. Remove the battery. For more information, refer to Battery (86.15.01)

3. Remove the all-wheel drive control unit cover.

• Press 2 clamps.
• Release the lid.

4. Loosen and remove the all-wheel drive control unit.

• Press 2 clamps.
• Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.

Installation

1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.

2. Using T4, program the new control unit.
