Cooling Fan Shroud 2.7L (Discovery 3)

Removal

1.

CAUTION: Never work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle with special stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the cooling fan assembly. For more information, refer to Cooling Fan (26.25.19)

3. Remove the panel that covers access to the radiator. Unscrew 4 bolts.



4. Disconnect the cooling system hoses and pipes from the lower casing.



5. Remove the lower cooling fan shroud.

• Release the 2 clamps.
• Remove the screw.

Installation

1. Install the lower cooling fan shroud.

• Tighten the screw.
• Secure with clamps.

2. Install the cooling system hoses and pipes to the lower casing.

3. Install the radiator access panel. Tighten the bolts. (tightening torque 10 Nm).

4. Install the cooling fan assembly. For more information, refer to Cooling Fan (26.25.19)
