Rear door release handle (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the plastic door panel trim.

DOORS, Removing the front door assembly to provide access to other components, installing the front door, Plastic trim for the rear door.

2. Disconnect the cable from the handle.

3. Drill out the 2 rivets securing the inner door handle.

4. Remove the handle.

Installation

1. Connect the cable to the inside door handle.

2. Install the handle on the door and secure it with rivets.

3. Install the plastic door panel trim.
