Front door glass (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the plastic trim from the front door panel.

2. Remove the 4 screws securing the speaker to the door.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the door speaker.

4. Remove the speaker from the front door.



5. Lower the glass to provide access to the bolts securing the glass to the brackets.

6. Loosen the 2 bolts securing the glass to the brackets.



7. Remove the glass from the brackets. Lift the glass and turn it so that it is removed from the window opening.

Assembly

1. Insert the glass into the window opening and rotate it so that it fits into the seals and brackets.

2. Tighten the glass mounting bolts to the brackets to a torque of 9 Nm.

3. Raise and lower the window to check the operation of the window regulator.

4. Place the speaker near the door and connect the electrical connector to it.

5. Install the speaker into the door and secure with screws.

6. Install the plastic door panel trim.
