Dismantling
1. Remove the rear mudguards.

2. Remove both rear fog lights.

3. Remove the rear wheel arch extensions.

4. Remove 2 screws and both mudguard brackets.

5. Remove the 6 Torx screws securing the luggage compartment floor panel to the body.
6. Remove the luggage compartment floor covering mounting strip.
7. Remove the tailgate seal to gain access to the screws securing the bumper to the body.
8. Unscrew the 5 screws securing the bumper to the body.
9. Unscrew the 4 screws securing the bumper to the body.
10. Remove the 2 Torx bolts securing the bumper to the crossbar.
11. With the help of a partner, release the bumper and the electrical cable of the rear parking assistance sensor from the body.
12. Remove the rear parking assist sensor electrical cable retainer and disconnect the connector.
13. Remove the bumper.
NOTE: If disassembly was performed only to provide access to other system components, no further disassembly operations should be performed.
14. Remove both rear lights.

15. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the 4 rear parking assist sensors and remove the electrical cable from the 9 clamps.
16. Remove the rear parking assist sensor electrical cable from the bumper.
17. Release the 2 clamps and remove the rear parking assist sensor from the trim panel.
18. Remove the rear parking assistance sensor trim from the bumper.
19. Repeat the above procedure to remove the remaining 3 rear parking assist sensors.
20. Remove the nuts securing the rear lights from the bumper.
Installation
1. Tighten the nuts securing the rear lights to the bumper.
2. Install and secure the decorative covers for the rear parking assistance system sensors onto the bumper.
3. Install the electrical cable and attach it to the rear parking assist sensors and bumper.
4. Install both rear lights.

5. With the help of an assistant, install the bumper assembly onto the body.
6. Connect the electrical connector of the rear parking assist cable, install the clamps and secure them to the body.
7. Align the bumper with the body and secure it with screws and self-tapping screws.
8. Install the Torx screws securing the bumper to the cross member and tighten them to 5 Nm.
9. Install the luggage compartment door seal onto the body.
10. Install the luggage compartment floor covering mounting strip and secure it with Torx screws.
11. Install the mudguard brackets and secure them with screws.
12. Reinstall the rear wheel arch extensions.

13. Install both rear fog lights.

14. Install the rear mudguards.
