Left Rear Timing Belt Cover (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the engine soundproofing cover.

ENGINE KV6 - MODIFICATION K, Camshafts of the left cylinder head, Soundproofing engine casing.

3. Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the left rear timing belt cover and remove the cover.

Installation

1. Wipe the left rear timing belt cover.

2. Replace the left rear timing belt cover, install the bolts and tighten them to 4 Nm.

3. Install the engine soundproofing cover in place.

4. Connect the negative battery terminal.
