Right Front Timing Belt Cover (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the accessory drive belt.

ENGINE STARTING AND BATTERY CHARGING SYSTEM, REPAIR WORK, Attachment drive belt - KV6 engine.

3. Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the front timing belt front cover on the right cylinder head and remove the cover.

Installation

1. Wipe the right front timing belt cover.

2. Replace the right front timing belt cover, install the bolts and tighten them to 4 Nm.

3. Install the accessory drive belt.

ENGINE STARTING AND BATTERY CHARGING SYSTEM, REPAIR WORK, Attachment drive belt - KV6 engine.

4. Connect the negative battery terminal.
