Oil sump (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The removal procedure description may contain installation steps.

Removal

1. Raise the vehicle.

WARNING: Ensure that the vehicle is supported securely.

2. Drain the engine oil. Refer to procedure: Draining and Filling Engine Oil (303-01B Engine - 2.2L Duratorq - Td4, General Procedures).



3. Tightening torque: 9 Nm



4. For sealant information, refer to the engine specifications section. Refer to procedure: Specifications (303-01B Engine - 2.2L Duratorq - Td4, Specifications).

Installation

1. Install the elements back in place, working in reverse order.
