Lower Engine Mount Insulator (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The removal procedure description may contain installation steps.

Removal

1. Raise the vehicle.

WARNING: Ensure that the vehicle is supported securely.

2. Remove the engine guard. Refer to procedure: Engine Guard (501-02 Front Body Panels, Removal and Installation).

3. Remove the lower support cushion. Tightening torque: 110 Nm

CAUTION: Make sure that the components are installed in the original positions marked during removal.

Cars with gasoline engines

4. Remove the heat shield. Tightening torque: 10 Nm

NOTE: Do not perform further disassembly if the component is removed only for access.

All cars



5. Remove the engine mount brackets. Tightening torque: 110 Nm

Installation

Install the elements back in place, working in reverse order.
