Drain

Caution: Do not open the cooling system caps when the engine is hot.

1. Remove the expansion tank cap.

2. Disconnect the lower radiator hose and drain the fluid into a suitable container.

Note: After draining the expansion tank, remove the thermostat housing plug to continue draining. After the fluid level has dropped below the upper radiator tank, remove the radiator cap (plug).

Filling

Caution: To ensure complete removal of air from the system, carefully follow the filling instructions. Filling the system is made easier by periodically pinching the hoses (bleeding).

4. Unscrew the ventilation plugs from the thermostat housing and the upper radiator tank (if it hasn't been removed earlier).

5. Slowly pour liquid into the expansion tank until the liquid comes out of the radiator tank. The fluid levels in the radiator and expansion tank must be equal.

6. Install the radiator cap.

7. Add 1 liter of liquid to the expansion tank.

8. Install the thermostat housing plug and the expansion tank cap.

9. Run the engine for 5 minutes.

10. After the engine has cooled down, check the fluid level. If necessary, top up to the level mark.
