Removal



1. Drain the engine oil.

2. Tighten the drain plug. Replace the sealing washer if necessary.

3. Unscrew the 18 pan mounting bolts.

Note: There are 25mm long bolts installed in the right rear corner of the tray.


4. Remove the tray.

5. Discard the pad.

Installation



1. Clean the mating surfaces of the pan and block.

2. Apply RTV sealant to the front of the first main bearing.

3. Place the new gasket on the tray. The gasket on the pallet must lie flat.

4. Install the tray.

5. Tighten the bolts in the first pass in the order shown in the figure. Tighten the bolts in the same order in a second pass, see specification.

6. Fill with engine oil.
