Removal



1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Remove the resonance chamber.

3. Loosen the screw securing the oil dipstick tube to the valve cover.

3. Loosen the screw securing the oil dipstick tube to the valve cover.


3. Loosen the screw securing the oil dipstick tube to the valve cover.


4. Release the high-voltage wires from the clip on the cover, disconnect the wires from the spark plugs.

5. Unscrew the 4 valve cover mounting bolts.

5. Unscrew the 4 valve cover mounting bolts.


6. Remove the valve cover.

7. Remove and discard the lid gasket.
