Dismantling
1. Remove the soundproof casing of the engine.
KV6 ENGINE - MODIFICATION K, Camshafts of the left cylinder head, Noise-insulating casing of the engine.
2. Wring out 2 shoulders and remove 2 ventilation hoses from the valve cover of the left cylinder head.
3. Disconnect the 3 high voltage wires from the spark plugs.
4. Turn away a special bolt of fastening of an arm of wires of a high tension to the left head of cylinders and take away wires aside.
5. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector and release its pin part ("dad") from the bracket.
6. Turn away a bolt of fastening of an arm in which the socket of the forward oxygen sensor is also installed, and take away an arm with a socket aside.
7. In the sequence shown in the figure, loosen and remove the 14 valve cover bolts.
8. Remove the valve cover and discard its gasket.
Installation
1. Wipe the mating surfaces of the valve cover and integral camshaft cover.
2. Clean the inside of the valve cover. If necessary, clean the oil separator packing in solvent and blow it dry.
3. Lay a new gasket on the camshaft cover so that the arrow on the gasket faces the intake manifold.
4. Install the valve cover, screw in the bolts and tighten them to 9 Nm in the sequence shown in the figure.
5. Install the connector bracket, screw in the bolts and tighten them to a torque of 9 Nm.
6. Attach the male part of the connector to the bracket and connect the connector.
7. Connect the high voltage wires to the spark plugs in the correct connection order.
8. Install the high voltage wire bracket, screw in and tighten the special bolt.
9. Attach ventilation hoses to the valve cover of the left cylinder head.
10. Replace the engine soundproof cover.

11. Check the engine oil level and top up if necessary.
