Lower engine mount cross member (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the lower engine guard.

EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Lower engine protection shield.

2. Unscrew the 2 bolts securing the lower cross member to the pan and to the subframe.

3. Remove the lower engine crossmember. The 'TOP' mark should be on top.

Installation

1. Position the lower engine mount crossmember with the 'TOP' mark facing upwards. Install the bolts and tighten them to 100 Nm.

2. Reinstall the lower engine guard.
