Front crankshaft oil seal (Discovery 1)

Removal

1. Remove the crankshaft pulley.

2. Screw the LRT puller - 12-088 into the oil seal.

3. By tightening the central bolt of the puller, press out the oil seal.

Installation

4. Clean the oil seal seat.

5. Lubricate the oil seal with engine oil.

6. Press in the oil seal using the LRT-12-089 mandrel.

7. Reinstall the removed parts.
