General information

The anti-lock and anti-slip control system is based on the four-channel Bosch 8.0 system and performs the following braking functions:
  • ABS (anti-lock braking system).
  • ARM (active roll reduction).
  • CBC (cornering braking system).
  • DSC.
  • EBD (electronic Brakeforce Distribution).
  • ETC (electronic traction control system).
  • EBA (emergency braking assistance system).
  • EDC (engine braking torque control).
  • HDC.

The system includes the following components:
  • DSC switch.
  • HDC switch.
  • HDC relay.
  • Brake light switch.
  • Four wheel speed sensors.
  • Yaw rate and lateral acceleration sensor.
  • Steering wheel angle sensor.
  • Indicator lamps: four on vehicles with high-level instrument cluster and five on vehicles with low-level instrument cluster.
  • HCU (hydraulic control unit) with an ABS module attached to it (anti-lock braking system).
