Once connected, the car phone features can be used hands-free, although the Bluetooth® system only supports features that are available in the Bluetooth® Hands Free Profile.
The system performs the following functions:
- sending outgoing/receiving incoming calls;
- making calls using the phone's own voice tags (if created);
- signal strength indication on the touch screen (if supported by handset software);
- phonebook download;
- registration of missed calls;
- last number redial;
- call list.
Bluetooth telephone module
The Bluetooth phone module is connected to the MOST ring network and, as an interface between the phone and the built-in head unit, processes all commands and sounds coming in and out of the phone.
