CD navigation system playback unit (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.

2. Set the SRS system to fail-safe mode. For more information, refer to Standard Workshop Techniques

3. Remove the left front seat. For more information, refer to Front Seat (78.10.44/99)

4. Remove the CD changer.

• Remove 4 bolts.
• Disconnect the antenna cable.
• Disconnect the two electrical connectors.

Installation

1. Install the CD changer.

• Tighten the bolts (tightening torque 6 Nm).
• Connect the electrical connectors.
• Connect the antenna cable.

2. Install the left front seat. For more information, refer to Front Seat (78.10.44/99)
