Transceiver module

The Transceiver Module (TM) is located in the right rear of the luggage compartment. The TM serves as an interface between the telephone and the integrated head unit (IHU). The TM also contains the hardware and software for the voice recognition system.

Microphone

The same microphone is used when talking on the phone "Hands Free" (free hands) and in the voice command recognition system. The microphone has a built-in noise suppressor for hands-free operation of the phone. The microphone has a standard directional characteristic and is mounted on the roof console.
Cell phone antenna

The cell phone antenna is housed in a roof-mounted fairing and is connected to the TM module via a single coaxial cable. For more information, please refer to Antenna (415-02 Antenna)
Phone Adapter Holder

The mobile phone system allows the use of phones of different models and manufacturers. This is achieved by using a holder that is suitable for a specific phone. Holders have design differences depending on the model of the mobile phone.
Phone adapter support plate

The support plate is located in the center of the armrest. The support plate is connected to the transceiver by a dedicated serial data line.
