Removal


1.
CAUTION: Never work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle with special stands.


Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the crossmember. For more information, refer to Transmission Support Crossmember (76.10.09 or 76.10.92)

3.
CAUTION: To avoid damage to the joints or boots, do not allow the transmission to hang on the drive shafts.


Remove the mode sensor.
  • For ease of access, lower the rear of the transmission.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector.
  • Remove 2 Torx head bolts.
Remove 2 Torx head bolts.


Installation


1. When installing, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
  • Clean the parts.
  • Tighten the Torx head bolts (tightening torque 10 Nm).
2. Install the crossmember. For more information, refer to Transmission Support Crossmember (76.10.09 or

3. Using T4, recalibrate the new mode sensor.
