Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor 2.7L (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.

2. Remove the engine cover. For more information, refer to Engine Cover - 2.7L Diesel (12.30.50)

3. Disconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector.



4. Remove the MAP sensor.

• Remove the Torx screw.
• Remove the sealing ring.

Installation

1. When installing, repeat the removal procedure in reverse order. Tighten the Torx screw to 3 Nm.
