Dismantling


1. Remove the lower engine protection shield.

2. Unscrew the bolt securing the lower engine mount to the subframe.

2. Unscrew the bolt securing the lower engine mount to the subframe.


3. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the rubber-metal supports of the anti-roll bar to the subframe.

4. Support the anti-roll bar.

5. Loosen the nuts securing the rear silent blocks of the lower arms.

6. Unscrew 2 bolts securing the rear silent blocks of the lower arms.

7. Unscrew the bolts securing the front silent blocks of the lower arms.

8. Disconnect the lower arms from the subframe.

8. Disconnect the lower arms from the subframe.


9. Supporting the subframe, unscrew the 2 remaining bolts securing it.

10. Lower the subframe down and remove it.

Installation


1. Align the subframe, tighten the new bolts that secure it to the body, but do not tighten them completely yet.

2. Secure the front silent blocks of the lower arms, screw on the bolts to secure them, but do not tighten the bolts completely yet.

CAUTION: When tightening nuts and bolts, the weight of the vehicle must be supported by the suspension.


3. Clean the rear silent blocks and their mounting surfaces on the subframe.



4. Align the silent blocks, ensuring the correct position of the cylindrical pin. Install the bolts and tighten them to a torque of 105 Nm.

5. Tighten the subframe mounting bolts to 190 Nm.

6. Install the bolts securing the rubber-metal mounts of the anti-roll bar and tighten them to a torque of 23 Nm.

7. Align the lower engine mount, screw in the bolt and tighten it to 100 Nm.

8. Lower the vehicle.

9. Tighten the bolts securing the front silent blocks of the lower arms to a torque of 190 Nm.

10. Tighten the nuts of the rear silent blocks of the lower arms to a torque of 140 Nm.

11. Reinstall the lower engine protection shield.

12. Check and, if necessary, adjust the front wheel alignment.
