Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the engine soundproofing cover if installed.
ENGINE - Td4, Inlet and outlet camshafts, Engine soundproofing casing, models produced before May 2002.
3. Remove the lower engine protection shield.

4. Turn the steering wheel to the extreme right position.

5. Unscrew 3 bolts and remove the right mudguard.

6. Install the LRT-12-163 onto the accessory belt, turning the tensioner in the corresponding clockwise direction, and then counter-clockwise to remove the belt from the pulleys.
7. Remove the accessory drive belt.
Installation
1. Make sure the transmission pulleys are not damaged or dirty.
CAUTION: Check the belt for wear. Cracks on the side surface of the belt are not damage. A drive belt with missing or missing parts must be replaced.
2. Using LRT-12-163 to hold the belt tensioner in the loose position and with assistance, install the accessory drive belt. Make sure the belt is positioned correctly in the pulley grooves.
3. Install the mudguard and tighten the bolts to a torque of 10 Nm.
4. Reinstall the lower engine protection shield.

5. Reinstall the engine soundproofing cover, if equipped.

6. Connect the negative battery terminal.
